Leadership team

Matthew and his family relocated back to Central IL from Florida to serve at REVIVE Church. Matt and his wife Jayme have 2 daughters and 2 sons. Matt served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman taking care of US Marines and civilians during the Iraq War.  Matt graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.  Matt also serves as a Worship Team Leader, often with 1 daughter on drums and the other on vocals. He has a soft heart and is ready for Holy Spirit to move!

Steve and his wife Terry have called East Peoria home for all of their married life. They have 2 sons and 1 daughter. One grandbaby here and another on the way. Steve has volunteered locally including as a East Peoria High School School Board Member and on the board of Peoria Crime Stoppers.  

Pastor Russell & Hannah have been with REVIVE Church since our launch Sunday in 2019.  Pastor Russell has been credentialed with the Assemblies of God since 2014. Russell has a very fun and dynamic approach to ministering to our Jr & Sr High students. He served in the US Army National Guard as an Intelligence Analyst for 6 years.  
Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Worship Arts and coordinates our Worship Leaders, Singers, Musicians, Sound Techs, and Media Team. Writing, singing, and worshipping the Lord is what she was created for! 

Waylon serves at REVIVE Church on the Leadership Team, Security Team, and also in REVIVE Kids.  He is a Mechanical Assembler at Komatsu Dresser in Peoria.  Waylon is committed to the Lord in serving God's people through REVIVE Church.

Laura has a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching. She is fantastic with children! Laura teaches in the public school system and also is REVIVE Church Children's Ministry Director. 

Scott has served on the Leadership Team since the inception of REVIVE Church. Scott retired in 2020 and loves to travel with his wife Chris. Together, they have served for many years in ministry.  Scott is a super fun Christ follower and the joy of the Lord pours out of him. He served many decades in Children's Ministry prior to REVIVE Church. 

Pastor Robert graduated from E.P.C.H.S. in 1987, then went off to the U.S. Navy to become a Hospital Corpsman. During his time of service to our country, he married Robyn. They have 2 children and 1 grandbaby. Pastor Robert is credentialed with the Assemblies of God and launched REVIVE Church with the help of others on Easter Sunday in 2019.  Prior to launching REVIVE Church, Robert served at Riverside Community Church in many areas including Missions Director, singing on worship teams, acting in many musicals, and more!
